今日の音楽 1月19日 ポルカ・シュネル「観光列車」 ; Music for today Jan.19 Polka schnell " Vergnügungszug"

ヨハン・シュトラウスⅡのポルカ・シュネル「観光列車」op.281は1864年1月19日の「産業協会舞踏会」で初演されました。

この曲は、トライアングルによる発着の警報音、列車の進行を表現するホルンなど優れた描写音楽としても知られています。鉄道好きな作曲家は、ドヴォルザークやオネゲルなどが知られていますが、実はシュトラウスは列車に乗ること自体も嫌いだったようです。

Polka Schnell " Vergnügungszug" op.281 of Johann Strauss Ⅱ has been premiered at the "The ball of the Industry Association " of January 19, 1864.

This song, such as alarm sound of arrival and departure by Triangle or horn to express the progress of the train, also known as depiction music excellent . There are some railway favorite composer is known ,such as Dvorak and Honegger ,but  in fact, Strauss himself was hate to ride the train.
