シェーンベルクの「ワルシャワの生き残り」op.46は1948年11月4日にアルバカーキで初演されました。

シェーンベルクはナレーション入の作品をいくつか作っています。もっとも有名な曲は「グレの歌」ですが、「ワルシャワの生き残り」はシェーンベルクの作品の中でも、「グレの歌」と対角を成す作品です。完全な十二音技法を使った無調音楽で、ナレーション(英語とドイツ語)が理解できない人が多い日本では、殆ど理解できない音楽かもしれません。

内容は、ナチスドイツによるホロコーストの悲劇を訴えるものです。ナレーターは、ワルシャワのゲットーで生き残った男です。

" A survivor from Warsaw"op.46  of Schoenberg has been premiered in Albuquerque on November 4, 1948.

Schoenberg composed some of the work of narration input. The most famous song is "Gurre-lieder" but, "Warsaw of survival" is also in the works of Schoenberg, is a work that forms the diagonal and "Gurre-lieder". It was written in complete atonal music using the  twelve-tone technique, in the Japanese who do not understand this narration (English and German) , it might be music can hardly understand.

Contents, is to sue the tragedy of the Holocaust by Nazi Germany. The narrator  is a man who survived the ghetto of Warsaw.
