ドイツの詩人　ヴィルヘルム・ミュラーは1794年10月7日にドイツ東部のデッサウで生まれました。

ミュラーは32歳の若さで心臓発作で亡くなってしまったので、遺された作品は多くはありません。
但し、シューベルトが作曲した3大歌曲集の内、「美しい水車屋の娘」と｢冬の旅」の2つがミュラーの詩によるものです。

「冬の旅」は2部24曲の連作歌曲集で、古今のリートの最高傑作とも言われる作品です。全曲では1時間15分ほどの長い曲です。失恋してさすらいの旅に出た若者を歌った曲です。中でも「おやすみ」「菩提樹」「郵便馬車」「辻音楽師」が有名です。

Poet Wilhelm Muller of Germany was born in Dessau in eastern Germany on October 7, 1794.

Since he had died of a heart attack at the young 32-year-old , there are not many tracks had been bereaved.
However, among the three major Schubert Lieder , two "Winterreise" and "Die schöne Müllerin," was Poems by Muller.

In the song cycle collection of 24 songs two parts, "Winterreise" is a work that is said to be the masterpiece of the Lied of all time. It is a long song about one hour and 15 minutes in the Playlist. It is a song that sang young people went on a wander with a broken heart. "Gute nacht," "Der Lindenbaum", "Die Post", "Der Leierman" is famous among them.
