バッハのカンタータ第93番「尊き御神の統べしらすままにまつろい」は1724年7月9日に初演されました。

カンタータ第93番は、三位一体節後第5日曜日に演奏されるコラール・カンタータです。神の意志への信頼と従順を歌った曲で、ペテロが夜通し釣りをしても1匹も釣れなかった事を嘆くと、イエスに「沖に舟を漕ぎ出して釣り糸を垂らしなさい」と言われ、その通りにしたら大漁だったというお話です。
