作曲家のアレクサンドル・アレクサンドロフは1946年7月8日に巡業先のベルリンで亡くなりました。

アレクサンドロフはアレクサンドロフ・アンサンブルの創設者として知られています。アンサンブルは、ソリスト、合唱団、ロシアの伝統楽器を取り入れたオーケストラとダンサーなどで構成された大集団で、冷戦時代でも広く世界中で公演をし、ソ連解体後も変わらず活動を続けています。

また、彼はソヴィエト連合国歌を作曲しています。ソ連国歌は1943年に公募されましたがスターリンの気に入った作品が無く、結局アレクサンドロフが作曲したボルシェヴィキ党歌が歌詞を変えて流用されました。

今でもロシア国歌に一部取り入れられています。

Aleksandrov is  known as the founder of the Alexandrov Ensemble. He had also composed the Soviet Union national anthem. Soviet national anthem was public offering in 1943, but there is no work that Stalin accepts, so the Bolshevik party song that Aleksandrov was composed after all has been diverted by changing the lyrics.

It has been incorporated in part on the Russian national anthem still.
