日本の歌手Misiaは1978年7月7日に長崎県対馬で生まれました。

幼少から教会でゴスペル音楽に親しみ、黒人ヴォイストレーナーに師事して歌唱を磨いたMisiaは、1998年にデビューしました。デビュー・アルバムの「MOTHER FATHER BROTHER SISTER」は300万枚近い売上を記録し、2000年には「EVERYTHING」がTVドラマとのタイアップで大ヒットしました。

アフリカなど途上国の支援活動も行っており、アフリカ開発会議などの名誉大使も務めています。

5オクターヴの声を持つと言われていて、伸びのある高音域だけでなく低音域の暖かさも彼女の特徴のひとつだと思います。

Singer Misia of Japan was born in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture on July 7, 1978.

Misia was  familiar with gospel music in church from childhood, brushed singing with studied with black voice trainer, debuted in 1998. The debut album "MOTHER FATHER BROTHER SISTER" to record sales nearly 300 million copies, "EVERYTHING" was a big hit in the tie-up with TV drama in 2000.

And she also supports activities in developing countries such as Africa, has also served as honorary ambassador, such as Tokyo International Conference on African Development.

She is said to have the voice of the 5 octave, I think the warmth of the low frequency range as well as treble with the growth also is one of the characteristics of her.
