俳優のアーノルド・シュワルツネッガーは1947年7月30日にオーストリアで生まれました。

シュワルツネッガーはボディビルダーとして10代の頃から活躍していましたが、その内に大衆に飽きられる事を危惧して俳優に転進し1970年に「SF超人ヘラクレス」で映画デビューしました。

1982年の「コナン・ザ・グレート」で知られるようになり「ターミネーター」でトップスターとなりました。

その後、カルフォルニア知事まで登りつめたことは衆知の事実です。

「コマンドー」は1985年に公開された映画で、娘を救うために偶然知り合ったキャビンアテンダントと共に孤島へ向かうアクション映画。この映画で、シュワルツネッガーは悪役から正義の味方へとイメージ・チェンジを成功させました。音楽はイギリスのロック・バンド「パワー・ステーション」が担当しています。
