今日の音楽 7月19日 カンタータ「土の歌」 Music for today; July 19 "Tsuchi no Uta(The song for ground)"

作詞家の大木惇夫は1977年7月19日に亡くなりました。

広島で生まれた大木惇夫は、少年時代に文学者を志し短歌や詩を創作していました。北原白秋に見出され歌謡曲などの作詞もするようになりました。

第二次世界大戦中は、戦争文学などを作っていたため戦後は戦争協力者として文壇から疎外され、校歌や社歌などで生涯をすごしました。

カンタータ「土の歌」は、7つの楽章からなる混声合唱とオーケストラのための曲で、佐藤眞が1962年に作曲しました。第7楽章の「大地讃頌」は、この曲のみ独立して歌われるほど有名な曲で、卒業式の定番のひとつでもあります。

Atsuo Ohki lyricist died on July 19, 1977.

Atsuo Ohki was born in Hiroshima, he was creative and poetry tanka aspired to literary boyhood. He also created popular song lyrics, and found from Kitahara Hakushu.

During World War II, he alienated from the literary world as a war collaborator after the war because it was making and war literature, he  spent a lifetime making company and school songs.

The "Song of the earth" cantata, song for mixed chorus and orchestra consisting of the movement of seven, Makoto Sato was composed in 1962. The seventh movement, "Daichi sansho", the famous song as sung this song only independently, and is also one of the staple of the graduation ceremony.
