今日の音楽 5月2日 ウィーンの娘 Music for today; May 2 Wiener madchen

オーストリアの作曲家カルル・ミハエル・ツィーラーは1843年5月2日に生まれました。

ツィーラーは軍楽隊長や舞踏楽団の指揮者などをつとめながら600ものウィンナ・ワルツ等の作品を遺した古き善き時代の最後を飾る作曲家でした。

「ウィーンの娘」はツィーラーの代表作のひとつで、シュトラウス一家のワルツに比べると単純だけれどもノスタルジックな音楽です。

Composer Carl Michael Ziehrer of Austria was born on May 2, 1843.

Ziehrer was a composer who decorate the end of the good old days  left behind works of 600 Viennese waltz and the like while serving as conductor of the dance orchestra and military bandmaster.

"Wiener madchen" is one of the representative works of Ziehrer, so, it is simple and nostalgic music compared to waltz of Strauss family,
